King Abdullah was born in Riyadh in 1924, and received his early education at the royal court He was the sixth King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. King Abdullah was not only a real reformer of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia but also had taken steps towards development a central focus of the entire Arabian peninsula .He was the initiator of vast range of major economic, social, education, health, and infrastructure projects which have changed the kingdom in a moderate state.

King Abdullah has earned a profound respect for religion, history , muslim ummah and the Arab heritage. He loved to live in deserts with Bedouin tribes and learnt their norms and customs , values of honor, simplicity, generosity and bravery. His had in deep down in his heart a desire to help and assist in bringing the changes and the developments of his people lives.

Apart from his simplicity he was great commander when in 1962, King Faisal has chosen him to command the National Guards, he had accepted it as challenge and later proved his abilities. Kingdom has seen major developments during his era as his prominent accomplishments include launching of four mega economic cities, the creation of the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology and the Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University for Girls. Projects for expanding of projects of the Two Holy Mosques are the first priority.

King Abdullah has played his leadership role I international diplomacy and represented the Muslim Ummah in defense of Arab and Islamic issues which were vital achievements in bringing of world peace, stability and security. He took a leading role in promoting dialogue among the world’s leading faiths. His call for interfaith dialogue has played a marvelous part which resulted in the convention of the World Conference on Dialogue in Madrid, Spain and a United Nations conference on dialogue in 2008.

King Abdullah has also sought to resolve conflicts in the Arab and Islamic world. He has played a key role in brokering agreements for a Palestinian national unity government and a reconciliation accord between Sudan and Chad on Darfur. King Abdullah has been unwavering in his condemnation on terrorism as of taking of innocent lives, and in his denunciation of deviant groups that falsely claim to be Islamic.

It is great loss for Pakistan and Muslim ummah. Pakistan has lost a sympathetic friend ad ummah has lost a great leader. He will be ever remembered in Islamic history. The entire Pakistani nation is standing besides the shoulders of our Saudi brethren on the sad occasion of demise of their beloved king.
